I never wrote in my diary again till June. Must have been too busy and too many things going on. On June 6th I wrote that school was almost out. One more week to go! We were doing okay in school, mixing in with the grade school area. We all missed our old school though.
Mom went to my cousin Franny's baby shower on June 6th. Got one photo from that day which shows mom pregnant. Not many photos were taken of mom. She didn't like her picture taken. She was due any day.
June 8, 1963--Saturday
Vivian and I went to the dance at the Roll-A-Rama in Mohawk. (A roller skating rink) That was the most fun I'd had in a long time. I danced with five boys! The rest I danced with Vivian. We danced every single dance! The boys were.....some cute kid from Frankfort. Don Ames, Dewey Wilkenson, Dicky Bouck from West Winfield and David Sprague from Ilion.
We were talking to one of the "Playboys" ( The band's name) He gave us his business card. We had lots of fun!!
