When I Was Born Up Till Two Years-1946-48

My father and his brother bought a farm together after they got out of the service. It was a two-family side by side old farmhouse that we lived in. I don't have any memories of that place, since I was so young. But I do recall one incident. My mother and I were outdoors and for some reason the bull got loose and it was coming closer to us and my mother told me to run as fast as I could into the house. That was all I recall about that time. I was hanging on to her hand so tight and running as fast as my little legs would go. She must have been real scared that day.
The above letter was from the insurance company showing how much the hospital was paid for my birth. Quite a difference from today's costs!! And the little birth announcement that my mother sent out after I was born.
